There are many forms of refit, from lengthening the boat to creating a new interior. All share the need for a special approach compared to new builds, with different demands on skills and experience. That’s why we set a dedicated project manager on major refits, entirely focused on the project at hand. And our specialists at Unlimited Interiors also relish the separate challenges posed by a refit.

The latest recent rebirth at Hakvoort was Sea Eagle. Highlights include a two-meter transom extension, a complete paintjob, the replacement of the engineering systems, and new MTU engines (16V4000M90, delivering 3700 hp each), generators, pumps, watermaker, airco, hydraulic systems, A/V equipment, navigation equipment and teak decks. The result is an all-aluminum boat speed machine capable of reaching 40 knots.
